Welcome
Hello, I’m Becca fiber artist and keen gardener, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to my corner of the internet where I share my passion for making and growing.
My journey with fibre arts began decades ago when I first picked up a pair of knitting needles in the 1980s. Since then, my love for crafting with textiles has only grown stronger.
In the late 1990’s, my fascination with the natural world and gardening led me to explore the ancient art of natural dyeing. Harnessing the vibrant hues of plants, roots, and other natural sources
.In 2006, I discovered the meditative art of hand spinning, finding joy in creating yarn from raw fibres with my own hands. It’s a skill that has deepened my connection to the materials I work with and opened up a world of creativity and self-expression.
In this digital space, and also on Youtube, I invite you to join me on my journey as I share tips, tutorials, and musings on hand spinning, knitting, weaving, and natural dyeing. Whether you’re a seasoned fibre artist or a curious newcomer, there’s always something new to discover and explore together.
